I met Suzanne last summer at a party for OtterBox.  We wouldn’t cross paths again until recently when I found out that Suzanne is interested in coworking and she happens to design pretty excellent clothing (I’ve got it on my to-do list to work a hoodie dress into my wardrobe).

Who am I? Suzanne Akin - freelance graphic designer/owner of Akinz.com (clothing line)

What’s my passion?  Enjoying life… completing a project that I’m proud of or seeing a poster/flyer I designed for someone.  Seeing someone walking down the street wearing my clothes that I don’t know just completely makes my day.

What’s my “best day ever?” Well, I have an example…  my 25th birthday I woke up early to go skydiving with my brother and a group of friends, headed out to the lake to go wakeboarding and soak in some rays, and then finished off the night by having a big party / sleepover at a friend’s lakehouse.  These days you could probably substitute wakeboarding for snowboarding and lakehouse for ski in/ski out cabin and I would be in heaven.

Favorite thing/place/person about Old Town?  I’ve never been good at picking just one favorite, so I’m gonna choose one in each category thing - the fact that I can walk there from our house/ place - prob Bean Cycle since I visit them in Old Town and their coffee is what I brew at home / Person - Kevin Beucher… he IS old town.
